On the distant planet called No Man's Land, a vicious war was fought over the future of mankind. Humanity pitted against powerful beings they called "Plants," each side represented by one of a pair of twin brothers, one side fighting for the destruction of the humans who had enslaved their species and the other fighting in the name of love and peace. A war that was fought across the multiverse, repeated over and over, variations on the theme of life and death and hope, so alike and yet all different in their own ways, like reflections in a broken mirror seen from every angle. Until, in one of those reflections, something shifted, the borders of spacetime rippled and snapped, and suddenly the many wavered as one, allowing the beings of that planet to walk out of their own and into another as easily as walking through a door.

No Man's Land is a musebox set in the world of the Trigun series in all of its various iterations. During the final battle in Millions Knives' war against humanity and against his brother, Vash the Stampede, the Plants who had aligned themselves with him rebelled, and in one timeline made a decision to reach out for help across dimensions, causing a rift in the fabric of space and time that allowed the realities to merge, a last-ditch effort to help their Red Brother put an end to all of the turmoil.
