He looked a little shocked at the question, blinking owlishly with his big, sad eyes, and oh, his accent was familiar. Someone from the December area, and...puzzle pieces seemed to shift in his head in an uncomfortable way; he had about the right eye and hair and skin color, the face shape was pretty close. He shunted the thought off before it could get planted too firmly in his mind, though. He couldn't think about that, not right now.
"No, it was made this morning. If it makes you feel better, I'll take a bite first. You can even choose the piece."
