[His mind still felt flayed open and raw, his shoulders were still hunched up near his ears. But Vash had at least settled enough that he could almost appear outwardly calm to anyone who didn't know any better. What hadn't changed, though, was the way he continued to crush his own senses down, keeping them from reaching out, afraid of causing more pain. So he was almost caught unawares when he heard another voice call out from not far away. And if he hadn't been just forced into becoming familiar with the sound of his own voice coming from outside of his own head, he might have thought he was losing what was left of what had already been an admittedly tenuous grip on his sanity.
He gave a wary, worried glance at the other Vash, a grimace on his face, before he turned to face the direction the voice had come from, his arms tucked in tightly against his chest over his white button up.]
God, again...? [He sighed, looking around to see if he could spot the third man before he had to reply, and when he didn't immediately see anyone approaching, he lifted a hand to cup around his mouth and shout out a reply.]
