It's been years since I've been to December, I think we played at .. Straight Dominos for a while.
[Midvalley had a life before Knives came along and obliterated his band and pressed him into service as the lone survivor. It was still disturbing to think about. He'd trusted them with his life. Sure they were all killers for hire, but..
But Straight Dominos had suffered an inexplicable loss of every single person in the audience and two members of the band a few years back, and wasn't open for business anymore. It's hard to keep his voice from slowly turning bitter.]
Our usual haunts had been Augusta and July, and all the stops between 'em. ...When July was still around. Who the hell knows if Augusta even is around, I heard this is all that's left.
