Tessla doesn't really know how to control the way she shares in their connection, it's all emotions and pain leaking out freely, just like the rage flooding the desert when the cocoon first arrived. Right now there's a hint of fear, because there's a new voice - but Vash and the sister's calm soothes her right back to just wary.

Tessla is lying on larger feathers to support her, head tipped back a bit and the feather-filled blonde hair spilling over white. It's not a sight people can easily stomach; she's a horror of gore much like the twins remember from the containers, and even worse in a way since she's missing her lower half.
It looks like the assimilation has fixed her in some ways, probably out of desperation. Her hand and her arm are attached to more twisted wings, just like her eyes. Her brain is placed like it should be rather than floating in another tank. That's where it ends, though. That's how much a little, terrified child could do with the help of her sisters - and lying on her back like this rather than face down in her brother's arms, there are a few dark strands hidden underneath the blonde. ]
